Anthony Carter

Anthony Carter is by profession a chartered surveyor
                who lives locally, outside Abergavenny, on the slopes
                of The Blorenge, above Llanellen. He draws his inspiration
                from the spectacular views overlooking the mountains, the
                Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and the wide sweep of
                the Usk Valley.
                His love of photography began in his mid teens when
                he concentrated on printing monochrome prints. His
                interest in photography continued for many years. With the advent
                of digital imaging Anthony once again took a serious interest
                in printing his own images. He became a member of the
                newly formed Abergavenny Camera Club in 2004.
                In 2007 he won an award for the best architectural print at
                the Welsh Salon of Photography.
                Anthony now prints in colour and monochrome using both
                film and digital Cameras. His subjects include landscape,
                reportage , architecture, close up and macro photography.
                He also produces digitally manipulated artwork in a
                variety of styles.
                All prints are limited editions and are printed on archival
                Quality acid free paper with Epson pigment inks which
                give a fade free life of 70 years, provided the prints are
                not displayed in direct sunlight.
                Images are available framed in a variety of styles including
                Black, Light Oak, Ash and brown stained timber frames.
